Industrial Plumber:

The maintenance plumber will maintain, install, and repair a variety of plumbing, piping, boilers and pumping systems and equipment. Trace and identify causes of plumbing and piping system leaks or malfunctions and restore to approved operating standards.

Essential Duties:

· Maintain boiler for heating and production.

· Perform pump repairs on all production pumping equipment (over 100).

· Maintain Refinery & PRD scrubbers.

· Install plumbing for ongoing projects.

· Maintain and repair for plant wide plumbing septic system.

· Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Competencies & Skills required:

· Thorough understanding of pluming, piping systems and equipment.

· Knowledge of boilers, hand tools and industrial equipment

· Detail-oriented and organized.

· Able to read and understand pluming schematics, and diagrams.

· Good problem-solving ability.

· Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift of heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.

· Familiar with the use of plumbing tools

· Able to work with minimal supervision and any shift as needed.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or two years college/Technical School or Vocational School and at least two years of experience is preferred. Candidate will be paid based on experience, skills & qualifications.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The temperature level in the work environment can be hot during summer.

Physical Demands:

The physical demand described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The position involves walking and standing for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor, sometimes under adverse environment.

The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects.

The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi limb coordination. Use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must have good stamina.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday.

40 Hrs per week. The employee must able to work all shifts as needed and able to work overtime as needed.

Other Requirements:

Must be willing to cross-trained to be able to help another team member accomplish a task.

Must be able to pass drug, background, Motor Vehicle report and Physical.
